by code insertion.
Automatically substituted through the command:
sed -i -z "s/:\n\s*::/::/g" file.rst
This generates identical HTML output.

People will see release codenames in other contexts, and thus it is
useful to mention them explicitly here rather than having to go to the
Releases wiki page to map version number to release codename.
