74e79e732a packagegroup-core-full-cmdline: Drop compatibility mappings
The task-core namespace was dropped years ago and we've had the compatibility
mappings for a long time. We should no longer need them as everyone should long
since have adapted.

4e99a5fa9c packagegroups-core-full-cmdline: Drop libraries packagegroup and gmp
We pull in libraries as/where needed as dependencies so there is no need
to have them as specific packagegroups. This change removes glib-2.0 and gmp.

This also has the advantage of meaning debian renaming now isn't used anywhere
and the packagegroup can remain allarch.

edbf8d3999 multilib/recipes: Use new RecipePostKeyExpansion event
There are issues with multilib due to the ordering of events where some
functions see the remapped multilib dependencies and some do not. A significant
problem is that the multilib class needs to make some changes before key expansion
and some afterwards but by using existing event handlers, some code sees things
in a partially translated state, leading to bugs.

This patch changes things to use a new event handler from bitbake which makes the
ordering of the changes explcit.

The challenge in doing this is that it breaks some existing anonymous python and
dyanmic assignments. In some cases these used to be translated and no longer are,
meaning MLPREFIX has to be added. In some cases these are now translated and the
MLPREFIX can be removed.

This change does now make it very clear when MLPREFIX is required and when it is
not, its just the migration path which is harder. The patch changes the small number
of cases where fixes are needed.

In particular, where a variable like RDEPENDS is conditionally extended (e.g.
with an override), MLPREFIX is now required.

This patch also reverts:
base: Revert 'base.bbclass: considering multilib when setting LICENSE_EXCLUSION'

This reverts 6597130256a1609c3e05ec5891aceaf549c37985 as the changes
to multilib datastore handling mean its no longer necessary.

bac4bc9aa6 Remove LSB support
LSB as a standard isn't current and isn't well suited to embedded
anyway. Its putting artifical constraints on the system and with modern
layer technology, would now be better off as its own layer. As such
its time to split it out.

The only part with some (marginal) usage is lsb_release,
which is split from the lsb package into an own lsb-release
package.

3fcd96ea1c packagegroup-core-lsb/-full-cmdline: add bzip2

The tar package is introduced by these two packagegroups into image.

  """
  ** gzip and bzip2.

GNU tar uses the gzip and bzip2 programs to read and write compressed
archives. If you don't have these programs already, you need to

1dd146d5ac pax: remove the recipe

whether you've got meta-qt4 or not. Add BBFILE_COLLECTIONS to
vardepsexclude for the function to avoid this. (This was flagged up when
testing the new yocto-compat-layer script - it understandably but
undesirably reports it as a change caused by a layer).

560077821a LSB: 4.1.0 -> 5.0
According to the LSB 5.0 Release Notes, FHS Released, Qt3 removed
and evoloved its module strategy which you can access from the
site:
	https://wiki.linuxfoundation.org/en/ReleaseNotes50

So we make two changes to comply with the LSB 5.0:
1. Remove the lsb-test-qt3-azov-*.rpm test package and delete the
   test session.
2. Update the test packages.

920819f3c1 gamin: remove

86d30d756a meta: Add explict getVar param for (non) expansion
Rather than just use d.getVar(X), use the more explict d.getVar(X, False)

3bf5b6de3e arch-mips.inc: Change definition of TRANSLATED_TARGET_ARCH
[YOCTO #7230]

In certain system configurations TRANSLATED_TARGET_ARCH will not
expand in the right order for gcc-cross-candian-mips64n32 to be
generated properly.

This will cause SDKs to fail to generate properly.

Changing the global definition of TRANSLATED_TARGET_ARCH always
expands the ABIEXTENSION, which causes the OVERRIDES to pick it up
as well. This effectively defines a new class of overrides for the 'n32'.

The side effect is that we need to duplicate some mips64 overrides, and
redefine others that were previously 'n32' or 'mips64' exclusive to have
the correct semantics.
