Scott Rifenbark 266ed1c3de ref-manual: Updated example string for BUILDHISTORY_COMMIT_AUTHOR. ...

I replaced the "<" and ">" constructs with the tags
<replaceable> and </replaceable>.  This is the preferred formatting
for user-supplied values.
