This file had a function full of mixed tabs and spaces. Our policy says tabs, some layers use spaces but this function matched nothing. It makes sense to clean this up, I'm torn between which to use. I've gone with the lesser invasive change (despite what the diff looks like) and used spaces as the code was clearly written with that partly in mind and tabs would have changed every line.
