igt-gpu-tools is a collection of tools for development and testing of the DRM drivers. (https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/igt-gpu-tools) This recipe is originally copied from meta-intel and added the following modifications 1. Enable ARM architecture 2. Enable igt-runner 3. Build git HEAD code instead of a specific version The original recipe in the meta-intel will be removed and replaced by this one to avoid having a duplicate recipe. It is applicable to be submitted to oe-core, because it provides a core validation functionality that is needed by all providing DRM drivers and not just to a single arch. QEMU Emulation Targets ====================== To simplify development, the build system supports building images to work with the QEMU emulator in system emulation mode. Several architectures are currently supported in 32 and 64 bit variants: * ARM (qemuarm + qemuarm64) * x86 (qemux86 + qemux86-64) * PowerPC (qemuppc only) * MIPS (qemumips + qemumips64) Use of the QEMU images is covered in the Yocto Project Reference Manual. The appropriate MACHINE variable value corresponding to the target is given in brackets.
