The previous commit <shadow: use relaxed usernames> works only for target. When test with configuration: INHERIT += 'extrausers' EXTRA_USERS_PARAMS += "useradd -p '' aBcD; " and run "bitbake core-image-minimal", error occurs: NOTE: core-image-minimal: Performing useradd with [ -R .../build/tmp-glibc/work/qemux86_64-wrs-linux/core-image-minimal/1.0-r0/rootfs -p '' aBcD] useradd: invalid user name 'aBcD' Here move the patch for using relaxed usernames from class_target to the source code for all. QEMU Emulation Targets ====================== To simplify development, the build system supports building images to work with the QEMU emulator in system emulation mode. Several architectures are currently supported in 32 and 64 bit variants: * ARM (qemuarm + qemuarm64) * x86 (qemux86 + qemux86-64) * PowerPC (qemuppc only) * MIPS (qemumips + qemumips64) Use of the QEMU images is covered in the Yocto Project Reference Manual. The appropriate MACHINE variable value corresponding to the target is given in brackets.
