* Fedora 24 reached end-of-life on 2017-08-08 and hasn't been tested in some time. * Fedora 25 reaches end-of-life in Q4 2017 and is exhibiting a bug which makes it an extremely unreliable host OS for workers on the Yocto Autobuilder. For that reason we'll no longer be using this distro on the Yocto Autobuilder and thus cannot claim the distro is sanity tested. QEMU Emulation Targets ====================== To simplify development, the build system supports building images to work with the QEMU emulator in system emulation mode. Several architectures are currently supported in 32 and 64 bit variants: * ARM (qemuarm + qemuarm64) * x86 (qemux86 + qemux86-64) * PowerPC (qemuppc only) * MIPS (qemumips + qemumips64) Use of the QEMU images is covered in the Yocto Project Reference Manual. The appropriate MACHINE variable value corresponding to the target is given in brackets.
